Roland Berger | Der Erfolchreiche
linocut, 30 x 21 cm, 2002

For many years the figure of Harlequin is a recurring motif in my printmaking and drawings. As an alter ego he accompanies my life as an artist, teacher and collector, with all its passions and defeats, and moments of happiness as a creative, sensuous and playful spirit successes. He can much of what I can not; Therefore I envy and admire him.
